Helen was approached to write the script for Cover Girl, an educational game for 14-16 year old girls, following the success of Smokescreen.

Smokescreen
Helen was creator of and lead writer on Smokescreen, a web-based Alternate Reality Game for 14-16 year olds, produced by Six to Start for Channel 4 Learning. The project went live in September 2009 and won the 2010 SXSW Interactive Best Game Award in 2010 and the BUFVC Learning on Screen Best Multimedia Award. It was also nominated for the BIMA Accessibility & Usability Special Award and the BIMA Educational & Outreach Award.

BBC Jam SEN 11-14 Commission
In 2007 Helen was commissioned by Gamelab London to devise and write 12 x 4 minute ‘webisodes’ of a drama depicting issues surrounding Independent Living for young people with special educational needs and/or physical disabilities. Sadly the project never went live as the BBC Jam site was indefinitely suspended during development.
